That sounds similar to what I dealt with. Look up under the dash and see if that screw/washer is loose that retains the foot vent.

On cold days the passenger side speaker cover makes noise, every so often there is another noise in the dash towards the passenger side that thumps like a small bowling ball is in there, not been able to figure that one out.

My 2018 OR has the dash rattle around the vent and gauge cluster. When I remove the plastic dash piece it goes away. I’ve tried everything, 3/8 inch foam lining, some silicone around the contact points but the only way I can get it to stop is by removing that plastic piece. Anyone have this same problem. It’s driving me crazy and makes me wish I still had my 08 4Runner.

Same issue happening on my 2018 Sport 4x4. The instrument cluster plexiglass buzzes/rattles pretty often when driving, only under certain road conditions but it is rather annoying. When I lightly press on the plexiglass the noise will stop which makes me feel almost certain that the glass is the culprit and not something else internally on the driver's side dash. Unsure of what to do.

In the same boat with my 2018 in the same spot. If I put my hand on top of the cluster or tweeter it stops. One of these days I’ll tear into it but as of now only seems to happen during the summer time maybe the heat. At my first 5k appointment I should them a video clip of the sound and they said they took apart the cluster and found a clipping rattling on the fire wall and fixed that, but rattle is still there.

Shoot! So weird, vehicles this new shouldn't be having these issues... I think you may be correct about the heat being a factor into the sound, I never heard this noise until a few days ago which makes me think it could be weather related.
