I’m having concerns regarding my 2022 tacoma that i just purchased yesterday… it came with 67k miles and overall has been a tank. However, just today i started noticing a rattling sound from the front as I accelerate, initially when it’s in the 20-30mph range, and occasionally when I'm accelerating at a higher speed. I heard it could be maybe a wire behind the radio thats tapping, or maybe the dashboard is tapping against the windshield when those initial vibrations kick in when the gears shift as i accelerate. Performance wise the truck is running beautifully as of now. But i always get paranoid over small things like this and im just trying to figure out if anyone had this same issue and if it was just caused by something very stupid and easy to fix. Please someone give me some reassurance and tell me good news Lol.. Also hoping this rattling sound isn’t the start of something mechanical that will kill my truck because i just got it

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
    Preignition aka pinging?
    Manual or Auto?
    Assuming it's a 4 cylinder.

It’s an automatic, weird because today i heard nothing but yesterday i had it going on all day. I don’t know if the temperature outside had anything to do with it. I know that today’s temperature was just a few degrees lower than yesterdays

Sounds like pinging, which these trucks like to do. Try running a tank of 93 octane and see what happens.

It's interesting I picked it up tuesday and heard it wednesday and now i hear nothing at all so i dont know if it is because the weather is getting colder out or if it was just some fluke thing... the truck is not affected mechanically in any way everything runs completely smooth. So now im like WHAT THE HELL lol because so far i heard nothing yesterday and so far nothing today.

Try to record video of the rattle if it re-appears. Do you have factory warranty left on the truck?
