Damn this thread blew up last night. We didn't run 13 last time. That's the purple one I was suggesting because everyone on here talks about it so much. It was Sunday afternoon by the time we got to it and no one wanted to risk trashing their ride at that point.

i think we all listed our damage separately.

above, i was actually reffering to a different trip, not afiliated with tacomaworld.
but the big things from RC i can remember are:
blown locker solenoid (stuck in lock), fried alternator, bent LCA mounts, busted diff seals and bent driveshaft on the jeep. all the rest was crumpled stock skids and some scratches.

he just wheeled the rest of the day and then we got it fixed back at camp. i think the jeep actually had it the worst with the bend driveshaft. he said he had to drive all of the way back home without going above 45. he had a ways to go too.

i put a set of cbi bolt on sliders on order today. they have a kickout and are already built and can be shipped out monday. (have to wait for Nathan to get back so he can give me the special pricing, $375+$75 for kickouts + about $150 for shipping so $600). only thing is they are HREW. I talked to steve at cbi and he said they are plenty strong. if i wanted to upgrade to DOM though it would be another $100 or so and take about a week to build. You guys think ill be ok with the HREW, or am I making a mistake. Trucks only got 1.75" billies, rear tsb and 265 76 16 duratracs therfore im not doing serious rock crawling, but would like a little protection and peace of mind on the blues and maybe blue/blacks at RC.

ok cool, i feel better about the HREW now that I hear yours are and how they dealt with the bmw lol. now just need to pick my ifs skid out. bud built and ato are both real nice. only advantage to all-pro i see is its a weight saver on my dd with a 4cyl that i put over 20k a year on and every mpg counts.
