I don't see why I can't make this...at least one day anyway. I'll have the truck inspected by then. I'm gonna put it on the rack and give it the once over.

Got my idler pulley replaced this afternoon after trashing it at the last RC trip. No more noisy truck. Can't wait to trash the new one on this trip :D

Need to replace my driver's side CV after tearing the boot last trip, but I'm going to hold off on that until after this trip.

I love me some beer, but damn that's crazy. Unless a shot of that beer gives me a good buzz all night and makes me jizz my pants when I drink it, no thanks.

ok more questions on the bud built vs ato vs all pro ifs skid...

in another thread someone mentioned that to get the same coverage with the bud built ifs skid the all pro skid offers you need to get the mid skid too. is this true? how about the ato ifs skid? it kind of looks like the ato skid goes farther back then the bud built skid

correct, the all pro goes from the bumper to behind the cross member behind the front differential. you need two from bud to get that coverage. the bud front skid however si the only skid that offers any protection for the lower control arm mounts and alignment cams.

ok. so would you say it is kind of pointless to have the bud ifs skid if i dont have the mid skid? there is no way that i could swing buying two bud skids right now since i just bought sliders. but i want some protection up front for this rc trip. with that being said, am i better off going with ato or all pro?

not pointless to just have the front bud, but the extra foot an a half of steel is a ton of help. i believe the ato has the same coverage as all pro, but i'm not 100% as i've never seen one.

when he broke down the second day, he rode with me. i was the second truck, following the huge red pre-taco. he obviosly didn't need a spot, but soemtimes we did. since he was riding with my, i always got him as a spotter......he'd just point left or right and cringe before i even started moving.
