I will be arriving Friday between midnight and 1am, so technically Saturday morning! Going out to pick up food and supplys right now... one more day! ;-)

 

sorry, i probably wont get out of work till like 5 tomorrow and its about a 3 hour ride out there. i just got back from supply shopping and am packing up the truck with everything i can right now so all i have to do when i get home from work tomorrow is a quick shower and throw the food in the cooler and go. trucks already loaded with firewood, chair, tent, etc.

however, i am going to do my best to try and get done earlier than 5 tomorrow and hustle out to RC!

few things to check before you leave guyz
have a spare tire / check it
for youz guyz with aftermarket rims and a stock spare.....BRING THE CORRECT LUG NUTS.......
for those without hi lift points...have a jack and jack boards" i have some"
pack a sandwich for lunch sat / sun..............
spare clothes / boots......WE WILL GET DIRTY
bring extra fluids....for you and your truck......
we will have a great time guyz.........

Just got new wheels and didn't even think of that. That could have sucked

I'm thinking about going saturday, just curious as what time everyone plans on heading for the trails? Also I guess I can be considered a newb as I have only ever done some light stuff. I think I'm pretty well equipped, any ideas on what else I may be missing? chain,spare, jack and boards, drinks, small lunch, spare clothes, is a gas can needed? Also I may have met a few of you at the KOP meet anyone else that was there?

I was at the meet as well, you had your girl with you and got drug to the mall after right? I had the obligatory 1st gen.

I should be asleep right now but I'm kind of panicked because when I drove home tonight my truck was in drive, but the reverse sensor was on, I realized it was the switch for my reverse lights got turned on by accident, then turned it off and started the truck again, and now the check engine light is on and I could almost swear I smelled something when I got out of the truck. I guess I'll run the code reader first thing in the morning and hopefully everything will be alright...



And now I'm feeling like a complete fucking idiot, I have a scan gauge and it can read the code.. I could of hit 3 fucking buttons and known why the light came on, and had it cleared. Instead of lying here worrying I could of known what the problem was.

 

Off to work then to RC!

The nearest gas station is several miles out from RC so we need to fuel up before we get into camp correct?
