Im about to go postal on the shop that has my truck.
They have had it for a day and a half now and still arent done. Never again will I go the lazy route and let someone else work on my truck.

 

what r u getting done?and thats why i do my own work for sure.

 

3" lift/ wheels / tires/ UCAs/ alignment. They said a stuck bolt was the cause of it taking so long. I told them they shoulda called me I remove stuck shit everyday at work. Kinda sad actually, Im trained to do all sorts of machining/welding/heat treating/ fabrication and the bulk of my job is removing stuck screws and bolts.

 

what could of been stuck???i did my whole lift(dad helped)in about 6 hrs.and i never did a toyota before.some real idiots at these places.sad.

 

uca bolt i bet.

 

Def that stupid fuckin uca bolt probably got them twisted on how to get it out.

 

damm bro, I could of had the lift done in a few hours.

 

yeah i figured since i was buying the wheels and tires and gonna have them do the alignment it'd just be easier to let them do everything while they got it. Oh well, lesson learned. That shop likely wont get anymore business from me. On a good note though, Im gonna re-enlist for another 6 years soon and getting 14k bonus!

 

A guy I work with has been asking me about going "light" wheeling and I told him he should come up next weekend to RC. He was kinda up for it until I told him everyone was gonna be in tacos. He has a new ford ranger and he said "Oh sure! I'll catch shit all weekend if I go up there" lol

 

haha I might be bringing a couple jeeps, and a Xterra.

 

I was just on raush's web site and it say you have to notify them if your camping before your visit has anyone done this?
