I've got no problems with the Rav4. We've had a few for rentals on vacation over the years, they are fine for what they are.

    Pretty much stock
Not sure about the 2010's but the 2007 camry v6 will spank it.

V6 Ravs are crazy fast...2wd is almost too much power for FrontWD. They make them here in Canada at a brand new plant in Woodstock Ontario

Yea, I was just pointing it out because I think it's pointless trying to compare an old vehicle to a new one regardless. I agree with the point that was trying to be made and the Rav4 definitely is quicker than what the Celica GT-S was.

My brother has a Rav4 sport and we have a Rav4 at work. These are a really nice vehicle to drive. I love them and they have a lot of room and not too bad on gas

    not too bad on gas??
My grandparents traded their V6 for the 4cyl. because the V6 was only getting them 16mpg around town, and 21mpg highway.

The Rav4 V6 is actually pretty damn quick. A Corolla S is no faster than the regular Corolla. A Scion tC isn't exactly quick neither, I'm sure my stock 4.0 Taco would devour one. Haven't driven any that have been modded. Gotta say though, the tC is badass.

The previous gen Corolla XRS could be made pretty quick, not a fan of the new one as much. VVTLI for the win.

The latest gen rav4 v6's are badass! Fast as hell (everything is relative), fit 4 full sized adults comfortably with room in the back for junk, handle great on road, awd versions are capable enough off road for the kind of stuff most people actually need. Even get pretty damned decent mpg's too.

    I'd drive one.
