I will probably check out the new Tacoma next year. First year is usually too buggy no matter who builds it.

    Well, well..........

First (1/2) day of ownership in the books.
This guy has got 18 miles on him, and the ride is AMAZING. This little guy has some serious pep compared to the wife's old 2013 CR-V. Absolutely loving the Cavalry blue in person even more than on line.

Outstanding.... Cav blue could be my absolute favorite Toy color.

Thanks! The wife and I both love it so far. Obviously not enough time to get a legitimate notion on how it performs but so far so good.

Cav Blue was definitely second choice after the quicksand I wanted for my Taco. Really a lovely color for sure.

Its short wheelbase will come in handy on the mountain roads.

Not sure how much they have changed in 7 years but with the way ours drives, as well as 40+ real world MPG, so far it's really hard not to like.

Picked up the new rav4 about 2 weeks ago.

Dropped it off at the detailer last week and went in for tint today. I've driven it twice, it's the GF's daily. Going to do a few more mods and then that's it....:fingerscrossed:

I'm so jealous of the MPGs!!!!

Going from driving my 2020 DCLB to our 2024 XCS Hybrid Rav4 basically way more than doubles our MPGs! Pretty amazing

Wife has a 2021 Hybrid. She loves that it gets over 40mpg. Bought it to replace her 2013 that I totaled on our honeymoon. She won't let me mod it. It has 42k on it currently.

Last month, traded in our 2016 CRV for a 2024 RAV4 hybrid.
Looked at the new CRV’s and decided to get the RAV4.
Very happy with the car. It’s our first hybrid and we are enjoying the novelty of it and the great gas mileage. So far, 1000 miles of mixed highway and local travel with a cumulative MPG of 43.6. IMG_3922.jpg

I am looking to buy a hybrid RAV4 in about a year. Looked at Corolla Cross trek, but decided on the RAV4. Keep us posted as far your experience with it. What version did you get? SE, Limited?

Do you have a full size spare? Donut? I looked at AWD Corolla Cross, until I found out it comes with a can of slime and tire inflator. Space in spare storage is taken by a high voltage inverter.

Our 2020 RAV4 Hybrid XSE does have a full size spare. (The can of slime and tire pump as an alternative just won't do for us.)

That's good to know. I love station wagons, but I have to have a normal spare tire.
Looking at hybrid AWD RAV4 in SE trim. I do not like moonroofs. Rubber on the roofs does not last long in GA.

It has a full size, donut spare. It’s a temporary spare and is not as wide as a regular tire.

The Prime (plug-in hybrid) model does not come with a spare.
