Hi, everybody! I recently installed my Eibach suspension lift and I’m now ready to get my wheels and tires on. I unboxed my Ray10s and have them sitting in the back of the truck ready to take them to my local tire shop when my tires come in this week.

I remember reading that there is a protective film that needs to be removed from these SCS center caps. However, mine don’t appear to have any. I tried picking at them, but noting is lifting up.

Does anyone know if SCS quit putting this covering on the center caps? I just don’t want to accidentally leave it on and not be able to remove it later. 53D43412-9FB4-4889-BAA6-30B7D1B31375.jpg

Bro, no film? Those are pretty much trashed, unsafe to use. Such a shame. Better not use 'em...I'll take them off your hands. :D

Thanks. Kinda what I figured. I just didn’t want to overlook something stupid.

While you're checking things, just a lil "why not"...go to each of those ring bolts and give it one little ugga dugga to make sure they're tight. I know after I had my wheels on for like a week, one or two of them seemed to come loose and was close to falling out. Just give em a quick tightening, nothing major....

Good advice! A neighbor of mine, with two different vehicles on SCS wheels, I’ve noticed 3 missing bolts. Still looks good however :p
