RBWL is pissing me off

    OK when i turn accelerate decallerate or hit bumps my red brake warning light comes on. the fluid level is full before someone points out something obvious i have new rotors. the problem was there before and is still there i also have all new springs and hardware and the sort in the rear drums. it was doing it before that and is still doing it. im getting kinda angry almost to the point of just snatching the blub out and forgetting it. but any help diagnosing would be appreciated

    getting there....
    try unplugging and cleaning the sensor for the brake fluid reservoir. may not have a good connection since the brake fluid is full.

    or lubing all the linkages/cables leading from the handle to the rear end.

    anyone know how to drain and flush the whole brake system fluid is looking a little brown i mean its been in there for 340,000 miles

    I would use WD-40 myself but PB Blaster would work fine. Just crawl under there and trace the cable up from the rear end. You'll see some linkages that have to rotate on bolts, soak that thing with lube and see if that helps.

    first. check fluid level. second, bleed the brake system according to the fsm. third, check the sensor connection and the sensor.fourth, replace rear brake shoes. fifth, remove the bulb from behind the dash and forget there was ever a problem. this may not be the right way to progress through the diagnosis procedure, but this is what i would do. when all else fails, you could check the FSM????

    ok before u start replacing parts for no reason. the only reasons the brake light comes on is one: fluid level u got that part right/. that sensor could be bad???? and it comes on with the e brake. theres a possition switch on the e brake handle (inside end. if this switch is bad or misaligned or misadjusted it could turn the light on. id start with checking out this switch...

    And OP Change that brake fluid! 340k is way too long on the original fluid.

    probably not your problem though.

    basically bleed the brakes and just keep doing it until it comes out of the bleeders clear... make sure the reservoir is full so you dont pump air into the lines...

    im thinkin vaccumn pump to the bleeders till its dry then refill with clean fluid and keep on going till i get clean fluidto the pump then refill and bleed it all

    my suggestion uses more fluid but you wont ever have air in the system.
