    is it?

Unfortunately I don't think anyone is making a scale fj body so they're all using toys r us cars and making em fit.

Tell you all what. Get that scx10... about as cheap as it gets and is lacking nothing.

Freakin amazing. I had no idea they make them like that now. I had a Team Associated RC10(or something like that) back in 1991 that I use to run at a track somewhere near Van Nuys, CA. That's a Flinstones car compared to what's out now.

believe its the tamiya f350 stretched out with the cab spliced. Using the (or similar) noise effect package from a tamiya king hauler or the like. Hell, maybe the f350 comes with that, I've never had a new one. And no, it sounds like a weed whacker not a diesel truck.

The first video I thought he had some little scale gas engine in it at first.

THe FJ is not an SCx10, but the same type of chassis/axle setup.

hit-up rc4wd.com they sell a 40 dollar (think its 30 on their ebay store) 2 channel 2.4ghz radio setup. You can't beat that with a stick. ANd the rxr is 3 channel if you wanted to expand you only need a radio.. if you can buy one separately.

At least that video eventually had the requisite emo music.

a common chassis for the big dually RC trucks are frame rail type chassis much like a real truck...

if anyone is interested in getting into this hobby, especially in the L.A. area, feel free to hit me up and we can have an RC mod day... haha

i also have an extra truck chassis that im not using...

    IMG00028.jpg

and my current project... it has 2.2 wheels, but the wheelbase is short so it will likely end up a 1.9 scale...
