I am currently running a 6 in rough country lift. It was on my truck when I bought it. Is it possible to swap out the entire lift for another lift? Something like the BDS Coilover Suspension LIft? I am trying to get all new parts on my suspension so I know exactly what I have and can better diagnose problems that arise. Thanks

Yes, any 6" coil will fit. The only real suspension mount that changed is the knuckle, and sometimes tie rods don't match.

I couldnt find the BDS coil setup seperate from the kit, not sure how to buy it.

I did see a Icon set that I shared recently.

With the rear, if its extensions, you just simply need a 4" shock (most rear lifts are only 4" to level the 6" front)

That's a drop bracket lift. Part of the install is to cut 9" of frame out. Going back to a standard lift will force you to find someone to weld in a section of steel to replace that.
However the BDS lift is also a drop bracket lift and will also work.

Drop bracket lifts are generally despised

I believe Radflo/Bilstein/king make a coilover replacement if you wanted to maintain the 6" but lose the spacers.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I understand it is a drop bracket lift. I am trying to replace it with a completely different drop bracket lift because I think it would be too much of a hassle and cost to try to repair the cross member to return to stock. Just wondering if the drop bracket lifts are designed in a way that I wouldn't be able to completely swap it out for another.

Thanks for the responses. From what my uneducated eyes can see I'm not on spacers on the front. But they do look pretty beat up and I want to get something new and better quality on there. As far as the rear, I've already gotten off blocks and am just on a leaf set to make it 6in. I just need to upgrade the shock (or whatever the technical term is)

Yes. You’ll just have to completely remove all the old db parts and install all the new db parts from the new kit. Ie: lca drop brackets, steeering knuckle, coil spacers etc.
