Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!

If you read through rcbs204s other thread, he tried just the bulb. It doesn't work becuase there is no diffuser. And to get the diffuser you have to order the whole 4-runner switch assembly. Back to spending $70.

Agreed. Didnt really think it was a big deal until this winter, and early morning or night in the dark hunting for my 4WD switch to navigate some snow. Sent my payment the other day...looking forward to getting it!

Somebody got it right!! I am actually building 33 Stock red boards this weekend, and i will be honoring the original list as best i can. As far as shipping order goes. I have to order blue LEDs still so i hope to have those here by Wednesday for all the custom guys!!

I want to also Thank all you guys on here that have ordered and been patient, that means allot. It allowed me to get you guys a real quality product that i hope you will all enjoy well past the life of your trucks. It has been a pleasure offering this to the Tacoma World group. I actually have a few other projects that will be released soon as well, but i will keep you all waiting until they are ready for shipment. Hint, it involves a very small camera!!

Again Thanks to all you guys!!!

Soooo excited to get mine and get it hooked up! For this kind of quality and at this kind of price patience is the least we could do rcbs204.

Cool!! Glad they are ready! I'm not sure if I was supposed to pay - being one of the first 5 testers as you said earlier, but I just paid, and am anxiously waiting.

    Great job!

I have questions. I have not soldered little stuff in years. Pipes yes, electronics no. Is the solder point on the board robust or do you have to be very careful ? I have a Wagner soldering gun, I supposed it is OK. Do I use rosen core solder or what kind. I can get it at Radio Shack but it's been so long I don't remember what kind. Do you hold the wire to the solder point with a cloths pin or something and drop a blob of solder on it ? You can't hold the soldering iron on the board it would burn up right ? Thanks for any help. While I was writing this you posed a pic of your production work table, so I wonder if you could post a pic of soldering the wire to the board ? Thanks, and thanks for all the work. I ordered my early in the pre order but was around 99 on the orignal list. Hope to get it B 4 March 14th. I'm going to a mod day in Denville NJ on the 14th. Thanks again.

The only soldering you will have to do is on the switch body it's self. Do not change/solder anything on the pcb board, i am soldering all that. Rosen core is preferred for any copper wire.

Thanks. I will reread and try 2 C where I'm soldering. Thanks for the fast reply.
