    Anyone actually use a fuse with this? I like the idea of a fuse but a fuse holder for that small of a wire is not easily available

    Very few people have, because there is a fuse in the dash lights that protects it anyway.

    Absolutely, there is a $250 minimum for Canada!
    Also there will be some slight mods you will need to do for the 2012+ switch that requires a 1/2" drill bit, a die grinder and a router.

    Where do I wire it then? The pinouts in the 2012 A/C controls are different

    How so? Unless you changed the internal wiring harness to the truck and the connectors on the harness everything should be the same.

    That's the problem, in order to put 2012 heater controls in a 2011 and under, you have to change the actual connector on the harness. The connector that's on the harness is a different pin from the 2008 pin that was on there

    It should still be the green and the green+white, they'll just be in a different pin location if I'm reading what you're saying right.
