Great news, being LEDs, it should last for the life of your truck.

So here is question for all you gents, I have a few of these boards left, for all the DIY guys, i can offer a kit price say $23.00. What this will get you is the PCB, and the resistors already installed. So you will have to come up with the LED's and wire. If there is interest in such a thing, PM me and i will create kit version of this board on EBay. If you were to want LEDs and the wire, so a whole kit i could do that for say $27.50.
Let me know if there is any interest in this type of think.
    thanks,

If you do decide to tackle the hvac unit, that would be awesome! I've had it apart a few times now, and each time realizing just how much work would have to go into it to get it to change. Even if at the very least you come up with something to be able to put cool white leds behind the cluster to make the orange brighten up, I would be onboard for that! I would also be interested in you 4x4 switch kit, as a have matching leds for my dash that I already did....

I don't see any insulation on your LED leads. It looks like perhaps an inch of uninsulated lead per LED. It would be simple to short out an LED on installation Why don't you provide sleeving on these LEDs?

The ebay photo shows the LEDs soldered directly to the circuit board, This is good fabrication practice.

RCBS204, please update your pdf, 1st photo. I'm an electrical engineer and would have a cow if I saw a circuit board built like that depicted in the 1st photo of your instructions, page 1 of this thread. This photo might also limit your sales, the Bottom Line!

Thanks for your concern, I am also a EE for 20years. Those pics from the first prototypes. The new LEDs now have wide viewing angle allowing the LEDs to all be flush mounted.
    Cheers

To all of you awaiting a shipping confirmation, I am shipping all orders on Tuesday the 11th. I have changed the packaging to a box, as i have had some complaints (mostly Canada) about damaged items in shipping. The packing materials i have ordered will be here Monday afternoon, so i will ship all pending orders on Tuesday the 11th. Thanks for your patience.

Ordered a stock orange one! This is gonna be sweet :) I'm going to do most of my interior mods at the same time so I only have to take apart the interior panels one time.

I am not able to PM you rcbs204. You dont have the same userpage as everyone else. I would like to get the PBC board with the resistors from you. I already have the LED's and wire. I was trying to do this on my own but cant find the copper clad board without paying just as much in shipping costs. Does the $23 include the shipping? I expect that this would be a couple dollar USPS shipment anyway. Let me know.
