Finally got it installed today...awesome! Thanks, you did a great job on the PCB...nice little commercial product. I chose to use splices as I personally don't like to cut the factory wiring. Here's some pics of some specific steps I took.

I did the solder method as described in the procedure:

I was expecting the pins to snap into the connector, so I wasted some time messing with it. However, the provided female pins connected with the male pins just fine...so I connected the socket, made sure it was snug and zip tied all the wires together for strain relief. The pic also shows where I ran the wires to the AC panel, there wasn't an easy way to run it with the factory harness bundle:

As previously mentioned, I chose splices since I don't like to cut into the factory wires:

I like to secure splices. I also zip tied the wires for strain relief:

    All done, looks great!

There will be NO more shipments to Canada. One of your Fellow Canadians decided to leave me a negative feedback on eBay. I ended up shipping this Guy 2 units, and he tells me he never received either one. I also refunded his money. So as far as i know he now has two units and his money back, so Sorry Canada. Make your way to the States if you want to purchase. One bad apple spoils the bunch. GRRRRRRRRRR

This sucks big time. I guess paypal only protects the purchaser. No proof of delivery.

Yeah it is too bad, I shipped a bunch up there, but with no real protection for me, I cannot afford to do it that way anymore. I am also going to figure out how to use USPS tracking. That way this kinda thing is a no brainer. Tracking numbers are our friend. I am just glad that all the TW members are stand up people.

This really pisses me off and Im sorry to hear that. I live in Canada and ordered one from you last summer and I have nothing but good things to say about you and your work and dedication to the TW family. My 4x4 light has worked flawlessly and has really helped me out this winter finding my switch in the dark. So on behalf of a canadian TW member I apologize for that guys idiotic behaviour towards someone who takes time out of their life to make a fantastic product for 1000's of Tacoma owners. So I will say thank you once again for all you do and keep up the great work!!! :)

Thanks man, I really have had no real problems with Canada. The US mail has never lost a one of my units no matter where i have shipped. And to have two going to the same Verified Address and not show up, made me really skeptical. So I told this guy around Tuesday or so that if he does not get this one i will refund on Friday. So he leaves me negative feedback on Thursday instead. I refunded his money, because I was like it is good money spent never to here from this guy again.

Little more info please, How is it wired up? If it is a straight through wiring, reverse the polarity.

Oh i see what you are asking, No they are not illuminated from the factory. I made an after market circuit board that goes in the switch. Take a look at the first page of this thread for the Install procedure and the Ebay auction in my sig.
