    hey rcbs204 the moly pins are too small for 2011, so I went to the dealer & bought new moly pins for 30.00 & it dose not work..I will go with the a/c but I think you owe for the moly pins because I alreay cut them & Im sure the dealer will not refund me the 30.00

    I would not advise that.
    Mod only takes about 20-45 minutes depending on skill level.

    First off I have a 2011 and this light kit is awesome! :cheers: THANKS Shannon. Never would have tried this in a brand new truck were it not for the perfect directions Shannon has written up. Yes the 2011 is identical to all the photos in the instructions.

    Now, I previously posted the wires were loose. What I also said was I could tug on the wires and they would not come out of the molex connector. The first time I put them in they came out easily. I flipped the connectors 180deg., and then tugged on them and they were in solid even though they "felt" loose, but the connection was NOT. I am 100% confident the connection is good.
    Hopes this clears up my previous post and my apologies Shannon if anyone misconstrued my previous post.

    I guess i will edit the procedure to reflect the 180 degree pin turn. So its really clear. There are lots of 2011 trucks with this mod, and they are all happy as well.

    2011 TRD DC. With the finest looking 4X4 switch in Middle Tennessee thanks to rcbs204. Only problem with install I caused myself. Great install directions.

    I installed mine today. I followed the instructions and had no problems. Thanks.

    While I had things apart, I put an LED down there by the auxillary switches (2010 manual). It throws enough light to reveal where the cupholders are. I tried to take a pic, but the clock totally dominates with a cheap camera.
