This looks like a great set up since it allows the axles to be level, thereby eliminating CV and diff problems, also allowing for a near factory ride, yes?

Since I have a 4wd, the one biggie negative for me is having to cut the crossmember. Looking at the instructions, its not just a "notching" its actually removing part of the crossmember. Is this to allow space for the drop bracket? This would void any factory frame warranty for sure I'm thinking.

    Thoughts boys?

^the cut is to allow the front differential to drop low enough. otherwise it would hit the crossmember and not lower enough. The drop bracket is basically a new crossmember.

The RCD will ride like stock but with a slightly higher center of gravity...cv angles will not be a problem

Another question. What about install of these lifts? Looks like much more major work compared to an OME, coils, and AAL. Especially that crossmember-ectomy. Cant just use a hacksaw on that one.

^both are db lifts... a hacksaw will more than likely take quite a bit of time to chop through the cross member... the install is pretty labor intensive.

I'm pretty sure it'll still work on 2012 just ask 4x4 shop and see what's up!

I'm still intrigued by this kit. I really like how the CVs are straight but don't like the cutting of the crossmember.

How did they cut it anyhow?

It should work on a 2012. Nothing underneath is different. The ProComp and Fabtech kits work on the 2012's and the kits haven't changed.

Where do you have the endlinks mounted? I see you go the spacers in, You sure you put them on the correct way? you can install the sway bar drop brackets backwards
