I'm getting mine installed on wednesday for $70/hr which should only take 7-8 hours...I guess it's decent since the dealership is installing it.

We install lift kits twice a week here at work and you will never get it done in the amount specified. Those labor rates are done with brand new vehicles, with 2-4 persons on them. We double the labor rates and come right in on time wise with labor normally. If you want a have assed job, and things cut(but not straight or clean looking or painted exposed bare metal) things not wrapped in conduit or wires tied up, Bolts torqued properly, lines and wires cleanly ran and away from moving parts then you can get it done in that specified time. I did my lift kit with my tech here at work and it took us 13 hours. He knew exactly what he was doing, I work on my own vehicles but have never lifted one and it still took us that long. Be prepared for a higher bill is all im saying

toyota and i have had several run ins with terrible customer service so this is a sore subject for me and it will be done correctly for the amount givin prior because my last experience with them was a 400 dollar headlight exchange... that was 2 years ago and im hesitant to go back... im actually thinking about doing it myself because of the last experience... rcd claims 5 hour install... dsm claims 3 1/2 . we will see because im not paying a grand for this to be done

Very true, mine is brand new with 800 miles and the person who does the lifts is the master tech which I got to meet and go over everything. They charge $130 an hour to install lifts, but I got $70 an hour worked in with the sale.

So far I have not experienced any vibe issues, but I haven't driven it enough yet. Maybe 10 miles or less on it. I'll find out on Monday if they did anything with the VSC.
