Haven't had the rcd lift long enough to discover any issues but it's a very solid built lift that should give years of performance free problems.
My FJ had Allpro UCA's with Icons before switching to a TC long travel with King shocks and both sets of UCA's squeaked if they weren't lubed regularly.

Truck looks great! As for squeaking, it might be your sway bar rubbing on the front brace. I and others had to throw a few washer in between the brace to stop the sway bar on the drivers side from hitting. Mine made like a rub sound when you hit bumps. Just a thought.

Thanks RND2, I already ordered everything this morning from wheelers. I going to give the 3/8 and 1/4 combo a try, worst cases I just add more or a diff combo.

wobble, didn't sound right to me either lol. Like I said I'm going to give this combo a shot. I think I prefer the alum option over the poly anyway.

Good point my sway bar had about a 1/16 gap and I knew it would start hitting when the truck was in motion so a few washers were added to give more room. Im going to machine a couple new blocks next week or machine off a little bit depending which way it needs to go

I love playing in the snow! I'm surprised these worn out STTs do as well as they do.

I used a pair of channel locks to bend the sheet metal out of the way. Wasn't too bad. Helps to have another set of hands to help out. About an hour at the most to swap them.

Ya I was looking at them today saying to myself "those are going to be a bitch" lol. Almost looks like they been better put in the other direction. Looks like more room for removal the other way.

What's everyone's gas mileage since putting the larger tires on?
I was getting around 260 in town before the 285/70/17 were installed and now I'm sitting at 140 with a little more than 1/4 left so I'm thinking about 200

Can someone running 33x12.50R17 on 17x9 wheels with 4.5 BS please post a pic of the front and/or back so I can see how much further they stick out than my 285/70s do?

According to the tire size calc. A 315/70/17 is 34.36", I'm guessing rub issues if that the case. I can't say for sure every truck is a little diff. My 295/70/17 come out around 33.25 in the real world. I get rub at full lock in certain cases, they are really tight regardless at full lock. It also shows a width of 12.4" which prob would be tight to the spindle. Mine are 11.97" wide and I have about a 1/2"-3/4" between the spindle and the tire. What is the back space on those wheels? I'm no expert on the matter, just telling what I know from my setup/wheel combo. My wheels are 17x9 4.53backspace.

To those of you with the RCD kit that are running 33-12.5-17's and having rubbing issues, are yáll running aftermarket UCA's? I had 285-70-17's on my old 09 running LR UCA's and did not rub at all. This time on my 2012, I'm running 33-12.5-17's which are almost an inch wider than my old tires with Total Chaos UCA's and still have NO rubbing issues at all. Even at full lock while flexing, no rub. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out why some of you have rub issues. I can't imaging different UCA's make that big of a difference. What yáll think?
