Trucks looking badass, those 315's must look sick in person. Pictures just don't seem to capture the scale like it does when your standing next to our trucks lol.

While working on the truck today I decided to rotate the carrier bearing 180* to see if it would help with the slight vibration I've been having and sure enough no more vibrations.
Installed the rigid grill insert with light and painted the chrome grill to match the truck and painted the rear chrome bumper black.BlackBumper_zpsddda7ec7_a5985f0cc88964173644287eec6653925d5b5d65.jpg

I'll have to try flipping the carrier bearing. Since installing the Dakars and 1.5" blocks, the vibe is worse.

Truck looks good! I've been wanting to do the same thing with the chrome. I've never been into the chrome look. The grill and rear bumper on this 2014 has bugged me since I bought it. How did you prep it? What kind of paint did you use? I'd be concerned how well it would hold up offroad.

My vibes are bad between 40-50 mph.

I plastidipped my rear bumper about 4 months ago. It's only worn down underneath from from rocks and sand getting kicked up all the time when I do donuts like maniac lol.

RCD looks like the route to go. I sold my 06' AC 4x4 Sport and bought a 12' DCLB 4x4 Sport that has a ProComp leveling kit already installed. That's certainly coming off and RCD going on. Yewww!

Thanks for the detailed response. I'm very interested in painting my chrome grill. Unfortunately I've not had luck in the past painting chrome bumpers though. Alder tree branches off road just haven't played nice with the paint. Ends up looking like crap and I regret it.

I do miss my '05 sport I traded in a few months ago for this reason. Grill and rear bumper were color matched to the truck. No chrome. I hate chrome.

I did get my new tires mounted today though. 33x12.50R17 Mickey Thompson MTZs. VERY happy with the outcome. Love the tread design and added width over my old 285/70R17 Cooper STTs. The MTZs are noticeable quieter and the 8 ply gives a less jarring ride. No more 10 ply for this guy.

Ya chrome sucks, after all this is 2014 not the 80's.
You need to have the bumper powder coated if you want it to last.
A tip for doing the front is to separate the plastic chrome from the rest of the grill to coat both sides with the etching primer plus it comes out cleaner and is much faster than trying to tape it off.

Question for all you RCD owners: Did you lose any steering radius with the lift? When I installed the 6" Fabtech on my 06' AC 4x4, the bigger/wider Fabtech knuckles shortens the ability to turn as well with the steering which makes doing u-turns a 3-point turn. My hopes are the RCD knuckle mimics the factory turning ability

Mine feels just fine. I busted a couple U turns with no problem lately and didn't notice a difference.

My turn radius hasn't changed, still makes the same U turn to get into the parking spot everyday. I heard a rumor that fabtech acknowledged the decrease in turning radius and developed a bleach injection system that sprays onto the rear tire and all thats needed was to lay on the gas after 5 seconds, This also makes an awesome cloud of smoke that draws attention to Fabtech's 6" lift and its only $199.99

I run 295/75/17. No rubbing, only modification I had to do was remove the mudflaps from the front

Have any pics of your Taco on here? I searched your posts but couldn't find any. I'd like to see how those 295's look with the RCD. Also, you still out here on Oahu?
