My Dakars are not stiff at all and ride better than the stock.

Looking good, boss!! The ride is unbelievable isn't it? I couldn't believe how smooth and stock-like it drove when I first picked it up. 2 yrs later and nothing has changed!

A rep from RCD informed me that the Fox set-up is a stiffer ride than the Bilsteins

I have never had, nor ridden in a RCD lifted Tacoma with Billies, but my Fox shocks do ride pretty stiff. I don't mind though. I also have about 5 inches of lift in the back, so to level the truck out, I have my front Foxes cranked down about 1.75". If I took the block out and lowered down the front, it would probably ride a little softer. I don't plan on doing that anytime soon though, but may consider doing that at the point I need to get an alignment.

From what i have gathered, I can run a 33x12.5r17 tire on a 17x9, 4.5BS, and -12 offset wheel with no rubbing, and only have the basic RCD lift with billies. Is this correct? The tire/wheel set up always gets me.

That's my setup and I don't rub. Front mudflaps are removed though.

Never liked lifts much, but this lift looks perfect on the Tacoma. Got me thinking about a lift now.....

Same setup here and I rub slightly on the mud flaps
The biggest issue Ive noticed is hitting the driveway into say like a shopping center to fast and the sway bar hitting the front mounts even after adding washers for more clearance, Going to stick them in the mill one of these days and take shave some off but I'm waiting for my front icons to see how thick there relocating spacer is since its only a couple weeks away until then

Blocks are not needed if you do a different leaf pack like a couple of us has done.
    Clearance is gained not lost.

Yes, I ordered it. Guess I can expect a lengthy wait.

What kind of leaf pack are you running with it?

The standard one that most get with their OME 3 inch lift? Does that keep your truck pretty level then?
