Exactly. Hate to see the guy go through all that work and it make no difference.

smokeeeyyy......Your MPG drop is because you are running taller and heavier tires/wheels, not because your truck has a lift. Get rid of those heavy Toyo tires and Fuel 18" wheels. They are very heavy compared to others available. Reducing your rational mass will help your MPG and give you some power back, lowering 2" will not. Going with an AT tire instead will help as well. They have less rolling resistance than MT tires.

Yeah, I just ditched my Nitto trail crapplers for a tire 15lbs lighter and it made a good difference. Toyos and nittos are pretty much the same tire and one of the heaviest on the market

Still happy with the new tires? How loud are they compared to others you've had?

Def the tires. The toyo mt's he has weigh in at 75lbs ea and if went with a toyo atII 285/65r18 which weighs in at only 58lbs he would get his mpg back.

75 lbs?!! Combined with the heavy Fuel wheels....no wonder he's getting shit mileage.

I didn't realize my Fuel wheels were 36 lbs each when I bought them. I'll be getting lighter wheels when I buy new tires.

Damn I thought the lift had more to do with the mileage, but I'm pretty sure I'll just buy some lighter tires. I loved them, but as y'all know I'm getting maybe around 11 Mpg and filling up almost twice a week. Thanks for all the help guys, cheers to a great lift right ?!

I love them. I just put them through some of the softest, slickest, nasty trails around and they didn't miss a beat. Best tires I've had for the price. We will see how they wear

Can someone post a link to the bilstein shocks that are for 4" lifts? I see 5100s but I'm not sure if the ones I've found are the ones that are sold for the RCD kits.

Are these the ones for the front?

I thought you were asking for the rear shocks since you specified 4" shocks. It's a 5" lift, so the front is 5" and rear is 4". I just ordered another set of rears to replace my 2 year old set yesterday.

Those aren't correct. The fronts are 5" longer than stock and doesn't come with springs. Front shock part # is F4-BE5-E122-T0.

I miss read and thought the RCD kit was a 4" lift. I'm looking to replace the spacers that came with the 4" BDS lift that I have on my truck. I'll have to do some more research to see if I can find anything at all.

Anybody else's wrinkle coat peeling off? Almost all my pieces are chipping away. I'm thinking of just rhino lining it.

You can use the longer bilsteins used on the rcd kit that wobble listed above. The bds and zone kits is actually about 4.5 lift in front. When I had my truck I used these and got rid of the tall top hat spacer used on the basic kit.

Thanks for the info. What do I do about the springs on the front? Do I have to purchase them separately?

No you use your factory springs. The shock is just longer to compensate for the lift to eliminate the spacer.

Link to where I purchased them at. Price is for 1 shock.

I placed the order on the RCD shocks today. Got the front and the rears. I sure hope they improve the ride over the spacers that I'm using with the BDS kit.

Anyone that's running eibach or OME springs with this lift, can you please post a pic of your axle angles? I'd like to go taller than 33s, but don't want to put axles, ball joints, and steering rack at too much of an angle. Did that with my previous OME lift and it cost me too damn much to replace them all.

My post on the previous page. I have eibach springs. Angles are fine. Granted I have 200lbs of bumper/winch which was the reason I went with those springs.

But take that off and with the eibach spring rate you would probably add 1/2" I'm on " 35s" lol. (I round up)
