I saw that pic when I was searching through this thread, but that's a lot of weight on those springs that I don't have. Although from what I've read, 883s will yield about 1/2" less than Eibachs. That may put me where I want to be.

Can you please measure center of hub to fender? That will give me an idea how much more lift you have.

If it makes you feel better I was running 35s with the stock springs and stock bumper. 1.25" spacer. And had no issues after cmc and cutting

I don't remember the 883 spring rate but I think eibach is a little higher with less of a lift?

I don't remember from when I was researching them. But over all it's a great riding spring. Reduces nose dive and body roll significantly.

I want to say when I put them on it was about an inch lift and now with my heavy bumper it's about 1/2".

I want to avoid as much cutting as possible. I had to hack the shit out of my previous truck to fit 285s on a 3" lift. Never cared for the look of it either. I thought the tires looked too big for the lift. Not a fan of the stuffed look. I knew I wanted to go a different route for this truck.

Yeah, I think the Eibachs are 620 lb spring rate and the 883s are 590 lb. I would love to reduce the body roll and remove the sway bar.

From what I've read, Eibachs give 1.6" of lift and 883s give 1" of lift. I'm thinking you are around 1" of lift with the added weight. On my previous truck I had 886s and the bumper/winch made it about 1/2" lower.

I did a backyard alignment and it looks like I will have to do CMC before I take it in the hills. I trimmed a little plastic in the rear part of front wheel wells and inner fenders and have 2-3 inches of clearance. Will know for sure after alignment is done. I set my LR UCAs at the 2 degree position. Hopefully I can get the caster I want. If not, I will have to go with the 3 degree position and deal with more rubbing.

I still rub with 315s. CMC and pinch weld smash. With 1.25"spacers only at full lock stuffed.

How do you like the Pros? I was debating getting them but opted for a cheaper/lighter alternative.

I only have about 20 miles on them so far. Much quieter than I thought they would be. They balanced very well. One didn't need any weights.

Even though they are heavier than some tires available, I really wanted to try the STT Pros. To reduce weight, I bought new wheels that were 11 pounds lighter than my old wheels. These tires are only 6 pounds heavier than my 33s. So even though I went from 33s to 35s, net result is 5 pounds less.

Eibachs installed with 1/4" spacer on left side.

Measurements when I bought the truck new:
    LF 20 1/2"
    RF 20 3/4"

    Measurements now:
    LF 27"
    RF 27 1/4"

    Lift result from stock:
    LF 6.5"
    RF 6.5"

Alignment has been done. Inner right CV boot fins are touching. Left side is close, but does not touch. The weird part is they did not touch before the alignment. The only thing I can come up with is that having such high caster has moved the axle forward enough to cause them to touch. Need to figure out something before they wear through. Either go with 883s, do boot slide mod, or reduce caster to see if that helps.

Not sure if I will need to do CMC until I take it off road and do some flexing. Around town, no rubbing.

LR UCAs are set a +2 degrees. Alignment numbers for caster are 3.50/3.59 (maxed out at LCA).

    CV axle angles:

Love seeing all these sweet trucks.
I just ordered a SOS concepts front and rear bumper and am considering this lift.
Not too excited about spending another chunk of money on wheels. Can I run the stock 16'' wheels for a while or will they not fit?

Just went through every page of this thread. I really like the stance of the RCD 4-5" I hope it will work with my 16' SR. I'm assuming the kit reuses the factory coils with the new 5100's?

I like how you get the height and that the CV's and Steering are at factory angles. Plus you get beefy Knuckles. I have a full blown Rock Buggy for the rowdy stuff, but I have 100% confidence that this kits can hang on any trails that a non DB Tacoma can.

I'm really not liking the current angles my CV's are at now, and I'm only running 2nd gen 5100's and 885's.

Out of the whole thread, I think this is my favorite pic, from Chad7088 pg. 21. Maybe I'm biased cause I have a Barcelona and Hankook ATM's :D

Yes, running 35s. Trimmed a little more, but nothing drastic. Probably more than I had to. So far no rubbing.
Had it up in the hills a few times, but nothing serious.

I'm sure if I set my UCAs at 3 degrees for more caster, I'd have to do CMC and more trimming though.

Also worth noting the fins on the CVs no longer rub after springs settled a bit. Very happy overall. No regrets.
