RCI Armor Group Buy

Found a little ambition... POR-15 applied. Tomorrow? Top coat. Then, I can finally bolt these things on!

 

Finally installed... along with the Fomoto oiled drain valve.

These skids are Really nice, heavy duty, high quality stuff. Great welds, fit perfectly. I'm VERY happy with this purchase.

Added bonus? The T-case crossmember does not interfere with Mobtown Off-Road's bolt on sliders. Perfect combo IMO.

 

I know it's not a "Group Buy" but it looks like RCI is doing a 15% off sale with code 'FEB15'. I'm assuming this will apply for the entire month of February?

 

I'm running both myself. Now I need to get them scraped up!

 

Great to know! Im buying the Mobtown weld-on sliders in a few weeks. I have the RCI front skid so far. And hopefully the Pelfreybilt front bumper I bought wont interfere with the front skid that I already have..

 

Hey guys just to confirm, the T-case skid can be installed by itself, right? It doesn't rely on any other skids for mounting points or strength does it?

 

The T-case skid CAN be mounted independently, but it drops down 1.5" to clear the exhaust and thus we would highly recommend mounting it in conjunction with the transmission skid plate, you will be much happier with that setup since it won't leave any edges hanging down.
