RCI powder coated 1/4" aluminum. Mount with included carriage bolts for tamper resistance.



Direct fit for 2005-2022 V6 Tacomas with RCI transmission skids. Can be readily modified to fit other brand transmission skids by drilling four 5/16" holes in the side flange. RCI photo:



Do not work well with BudBuilt skids as they severely block access to fasteners joining the engine skid to the trans skid, hence the reason I'm selling.

I paid $315 CAD including shipping and brokerage fees. Selling for $150 picked up in the GTA. Shipping available.

 

Are these effectively a 2-piece version of the talons garage or Miller cat?

 

Not quite. Those are full transmission skids, so you're limited to whatever they offer. Miller for example is really thin, 5/64". Trimming and drilling may also be required for the skid to fit with your existing front- and transfer case skids, because each vendor has its own mounting "system".

Meanwhile the RCI cat guards bolt to your existing transmission skid.
