Just a heads up, seems like a lot of people ordered the cat guards.

RCI's instructions are less than stellar. And in my case they were wrong. I would recommend mocking them up the best you can on the vehicle. And determining where to drill that way.

I drilled mine per RCI's instructions, bolted up the cat guards, bolted up the skid and the driver's side cat guard pushes right on the driver's side cat. Passenger side fits fine, and based on the part of the cat guards that are curved to fit the truck like a glove, mine are lined up exactly right (front to back). If left this way every time the exhaust moves it will bang and rattle on the cat guard.

I ended up drilling my holes out from 3/8 to 1/2, and then using a carbide burr to oval the holes for another 1/8 or so. That allowed enough movement in the bolts to drop the cat guard down a quarter inch, but it still hit. Ended up using a quarter inch of grade 8 fender washers to shim the rear of the transmission skid down a quarter inch. Fits fine now, but I don't like this long term as I'm on aluminum skids.

I think if I oval the holes another quarter inch, get longer carriage bolts, use some big fender washers on the inside, I should be fine.

For anyone doing this, the flat part of the cat guard (where the vent holes laser cut in) needs to sit below the top of that "edge" of the skid. This is Figure 2 in their install instructions. Drop the cat guard at least a quarter inch compared with their picture.

Other option is to replace my grade 8 fender washer shims with just a strip of 2" wide, 1/4" thick steel or aluminum flat stock, cut and drilled to act like a spacer to the rear of the transmission skid.
