Just picked mine up...holy smokes is this thing heavy duty hahaha...on to powder coat

 

Ok purchased the transfer case skid. I have a trd sport do I need to buy the transfer case cross member now? There website didn't say anything about that.

 

I haven't gotten my shipping confirmation yet

Awesome that's good to know. I started getting a little worried that I'd need to buy the $150 crossmember.

Just a reminder to everyone installing the front skid on the third gen. Check and tighten the screws on the oil filter access door. The instructions advise it but it totally slipped my mind. Just went to tighten them right now and they were quite loose.

 

For those that have already gotten their orders. Did you get a shipping notification email letting you know they were coming or did they just show up on your door step?

I am order #5628. Powder coated gas skid and haven't got an email yet. Hopefully beginning of the week I will. I've been waiting 9 weeks for my Pelfreybilt bumper so this wait is nothing.

 

My order is #5650 for LCA and Xfer skids in bare aluminum. I though it should be quick if they were already made, just need to stick them in the mail. I'm not in a particular rush for them, as likely won't get them install till December. I just hate paying for things and having to wait an extend time to get them, unless I'm told up front it'll be an extended wait for delivery.

 

So just a little complaint. The packaging wasn't so great so when I received my skid the bottom corners were out of the box and the powder coating had scraped off. It's not a big deal, I just used some Rustoleum to cover the bare metal to prevent rust but for spending the extra money on powder coating, it would have been nice to receive the piece undamaged. Bubble wrap or something on either end of the box would prevent that.

 

Where is everyone at with their orders received?

 

I'm 5752 for bare metal sliders placed on 10/26.

Anybody get their sliders yet?

 

Order 5659 four bare metal skids, nothing yet. It'll be a long wait lol but soo worth the sale.

 

Just an FYI. I did send Josh and email today asking about the status, and how the order fulfillment is going. When I get some details I'll be sure to let you guys know.
