Picked them up yesterday, such quality stuff!!

 

1 of 3 boxes received from UPS today. The others say still on track to be delivered today. Perhaps on different trucks?

 

Skids delivered yesterday! woot woot! anybody know what torque to use on these as well as the cross member?

That happened to me. 2 packages on one truck arrived early and the 3rd arrived later at night.

 

Cool. I'll give it to the end of the day before I hit the panic button.

Haven't got a tracking number yet but if it comes in the next week that's perfect timing since I just pulled the diffs today

 

Just finished installing front, transmission, and transfer case skids. Was quite the workout doing it solo. Took about 3 hours total. Made some mistakes along the way, but in the end they are on. I must say these are very solid. Very impressed with the quality of the skids, and they were very nicely wrapped up.

I think the instructions need some slight changes, and I would recommend everyone read all steps prior to install. Will save you some time.

 

Did your setup come with long enough carriage bolts for the transfer case spacer bar? I have 3" and what I read is that I need 5" so now I have to get new hardware. Anyone have pics of the setup so I know that I am doing it right?

 

My hardware included the 5" bolts. that set of hardware opened during shipping and was scattered all over the box. I didn't have an issue with that. Happens during shipping.

I will post some pics tomorrow when I get the chance. Was to dark to take photos tonight. But it did look like the pics on the RCI website and post #1 of this thread.

 

3" is for use without the spacer bar. I bought all 3 skids together (front, transmission, tcase) and it came with all of the hardware needed for stock exhaust crossover setup. I believe the long 5" carriage bolts and associated nuts and washers came packaged with the transmission skid instructions.

 

I bought all three from them but didn't get the bolts for it.

 

Anyone else received their orders or shipping confirmation yet?
