I recently installed my first bed rack and I'm interested in any mounting ideas you all might have. I'd really like to mount a shovel and an ax on one side and recovery boards on the other. Has anyone mounted an ax and shovel on the same side? Where would I get the right mounts from?

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Quickfists. You can absolutely mount them both on one side. I have the same rack as you and have axe on one side and shovel on the other at the moment, but will switch to both on one side when I mount some gas and water cans eventually.

RCI sells Maxtrax mounts for their bed racks. I have a set and they work great.

I have two sets of quick fists on the same side of my RCI rack. They are staggered a bit but my shovel and axe mount together no problem. Also, I have a set of the RCI Maxtrax mounts in my garage, as I have moved mine to my Prinsu rack. If you decide to go that route. PM me and we can work out a price.

I have ordered two sets of quick fits that should be here today. I'm going to try and fit my shovel and an axe (my granddad's axe that I'm in the process of restoring) on one side. I actually do want to mount recovery boards on the other side.
