RCI skid install help please

pia, prob my fault
but got 1/4 alum full skids RCI

tried getting engine and tran done last night, only got engine skid
because transmission forward i was able to sandwich nicely, with rubber spacer correctly,
but then the rearward transmission skid wouldnt line up with crossmember for thru bolts
and the half moon plate above. i dont have the brackets to remove on the crossmember

QUESTION: do these skid like being adjusted forward or rearward?

i tightened fronts per install video, and wondering if i need to loosen and play with front orientation, + maybe push forward sandwich section together more

any advice appreciated
