Those look great! Just ordered rci’s. Are those standard or set at 5 degrees. How was the install? Had to have mine ordered and sent to Washington to get on a boat to bring to Alaska and the service was great and very responsive. Love the softopper by the way. I have the same set up except in inferno. Can’t wait to add those sliders. Any advice would be helpful.

Got the 5 degree low angle.... not going to do much heavy duty rock climbing and needed more as a step than protection from boulders! I used a 2ton floor jack to move the slider into place and raise it up against the frame... worked like a champ with no strain on my part. It holds the slider in place and you can do the work bolting the slider on with no issues. Both sides have an item or two that you must unbolt but they go back easy after you have the slider on. The passenger side is simpler. The brake lines are slightly in the way on the drivers side but should not pose to big of an issue for you. The main issue I had is getting the front bolt in on the driver's side. I could not reach it with the brake line in the way.... but called in the wife with small wrist and arm and she put in right in and got the nut started... i took care of the rest! You'll see when you get under there..just make sure once you begin to tighten down the center bolt (first one per instructions) that all the other holes remain lined up..... i had to loosen that bolt and shift the slider slightly to get everything aligned properly. There is one more bolt I did not use on both sides in combination with a plate they send ... but as I said I'm primarily using it as a support step to get to my roof top tent...etc... Let me know if you have any other questions. Good Luck!

Awesome! Thanks so much. I got the 5 degree as well for wife and kids with the top plate. Looks like it will serve the purpose well and add great protection. Thanks for the info and will let u know if I have any questions. Won’t receive them till mid April.

You're right. Browsing too many slider companies and got them all mixed up. Wish that were an option with RCI tough. Thanks!

No worries. I was in the same position as you before I pulled the trigger.

Just curious. What makes u not so keen. I am new to sliders and am still waiting to put on my rci’s. Not because of them being late for delivery but am having them delivered to AK via boat.

Those look nice as well. I guess we shall see with the rci. Won’t be using them to the max. Just want some protection in case it’s needed. Hopefully they will work out.

I've been pretty happy with mine. I do wish they were a little longer front to back and didn't leave such a gap in coverage. The install went smooth after getting a little help from some of the good people here. I also upgraded all the hardware to grade 8 that should have been included in my opinion.

Just so you know, we don't use any "U" or "J" bolts for mounting our sliders, we run bolts from the outside of the slider through the frame and then secure them with heavy duty backing plates. I won't get too much into the engineering side of things but we have done substantial R&D on these, and there is no slider on the market (more expensive or not) that is as strong or has as many features. You can wheel as hard as you'd like and they will take it. ;)

How did yall get your arm up the frame on the drivers side to get the bolts nuts and washers on? I can't get my arm all the way up in that pocket, even having loosened and moved the brake lines out of the way (somewhat)

    Done!

Install was pretty straight forward but did have same issue as @RaunchBox but was able to make it happen. I'm happy overall with the sliders, great welds and I know they will take the abuse. Also, working with Tim at RCI was easy and fast. Someone must have either cancelled or they just decided to throw me to the front of the line, order placed on 3/22 and I received on 3/31. Sent to Powder locally and installed Monday.
