RCI Sliders and front Skid install

    Behind the relay you don't need extra washers, just put the bolt in through the inside of the frame.

    You're running the same setup as me. Therefore I approve! I have the RCI front & mid aluminum skids, too. Not pictured because they're not pretty anymore!

    edit: oh now, here's when I took it off to drill out the over-torqued bolts for the oil port (thank you, free ToyotaCare oil changes).

    Not saying that they didn't over torque, but those bolts will seize in aluminium. Stainless has a bad habit of that.

    They don't screw straight into the aluminum. There's a little stainless clip that sits on it and that's what's threaded for the bolt. Hard to explain but easy to understand if you saw a picture. I originally had the same thought.

    Actually, I'm massively lazy and haven't ordered the new bolts/hardware yet, so I still have it sitting in my garage. It looks like this:

    Gotcha. That's a good idea. I guess if you put them in with an impact like the dealer probably did, they will have issues.
