No, but if I were to state that a company "deceived" me I would think about how they lied to me before putting them on blast on an enthusiast forum. RCI didn't lie to you. The product description page missing one detail is not a problem and it's not a big deal to call or e-mail them.

    1. I did talk to RCI after the problem was discovered. Their answer was they make it that length due to shipping.

    2. Not disclosing all the product information is deceiving.

    3. I didn’t even think to open the boxes to check to see if they were true full length sliders before dropping off the the parts to my mechanic.

I had no clue a company would sell a partial slider.

Back to my question to you. If you ever do get married do your research. Talk to their friends and family. Make sure you are completely satisfied with what you are getting into.

I didn’t think I had to treat getting sliders to becoming married.

Anything you plan on having a long term relationship with should be treated as such.

Simply amazing. No, they did not deceive or lie to you. The pictures on their website show what is not covered. What does "full-length" mean? Does anyone make a slider that goes into the wheel well and would that even be a wise idea? The slider being two inches shorter than some others does not make it "partial" or "worthless". RCI didn't list the wrong length or lie about that to you at any point, so no, there was no deception.

Do we need to revisit the product description webpage?

What of this picture or description is a lie? Is the purpose of this thread to explain to us why RCI is a "deceitful" company or show that the difference in length with some other sliders is ~2"?

Please show me a clear picture of where the slider starts and stops in comparison to the wheel wells.

Also, show me where the length is disclosed.

From the pic that Dirk posted, it looks like the slider starts just about where the "tacoma" emblem is.

The exact length is not specified, which is not "deceit."

Can you really not see that the slider clearly stops before the front wheel well in this photo?

The pictures on their site pretty clearly show that the sliders stop about even with the door seams. Not hard at all to tell that they aren’t as long as some other options.

This is really the sticky wicket that OP doesn't seem to understand. He was not deceived.
    de·ceive
    /dəˈsēv/
    Learn to pronounce
    verb
    1. (of a person) cause (someone) to believe something that is not true, typically in order to gain some personal advantage.
If the product page had given a measurement longer than they actually are, or showed a picture longer than what was received, that would be deceit. If the sliders he got just bolted to the cab or were made out of a cheap super thin tubing, that would be deceit.

Could the product description/photos be better? Certainly. But if the information given isn't clear on an aspect of the product that is obviously important to the OP, it is 100% on him to get that information before purchasing, or buy something else.

How is that different that the photos myself and other people pulled straight from their website? You can see the photo I embedded right? No one lied to you...
