Yea. The square washer we provide are a hell of a lot thicker than a fender washer.

What did you end up paying to get those sliders shipped north of the border?

I didn't need to pay shipping for them as the local shop I ordered from just ships to a broker in niagara region and then drive down, bring it up and don't charge extra.

came out to $915CAD after tax
Just looked at yours even if I got it with the group buy after shipping to Niagara, paying taxes at the border etc would've been over $1000 as it was $980 after tax not including shipping. Wouldn't have been a lot more but still more.

If I cant get them from work I'll just stop by fastenal or something on the way home on monday and possibly get some higher grade stuff as well. I have an account with them so shouldn't cost me much.

Hardware isn't expensive when you're only using 3 bolts per side

    Basic overland stuff...
You seem significantly worried about hardware strength on these. I don't see the issue. But... just weld them on and be done with it. You can easily stitch weld them to the frame and save yourself all the heartache over only having grade 5 hardware.

If you accidentally break your brake line just ride over to the mechanic to fix it, problem solved :bananadance:

    not a fan of welding.
it makes rust like a cancer and it just continues to come. Starts on the slider then moves to the frame.
Too much salt in the winter here. I've seen welded ones and it just always rusts.

So talked to Josh at RCI today.
Supposedly its because of the 17s.

The 16s had holes in all the same places as the 05-15, but for the 17s they changed it and removed a few.

Some 17s definitely don't have the same frame holes as the 16s. I ran into the same issues with a different vendor's sliders. See below.

As of right now I haven't drilled and I'm seeing if I can get a custom u bolt made in 1/2 grade 8 hardware. The way I can go around the whole frame and get extra strength. If not then I'll make a bracket similar to how the mobtown one attaches to go around the whole boxed portion
