RCI Spring 2017 Group Buy - CLOSED

Just picked mine up on Monday but it was local pick up not shipping.

 

Just mounted up the sliders last Saturday (sorry no pictures) and need some help with the driver side. Passenger side does not have break lines so it was very straight forward. Drivers side not so much. Break lines are in the way. Can anybody post up some pictures of the drives side mounting location with what they did with the break lines to get the last two bolts in.

Got my tracking number today!! Set it up with UPS so I can pick it up at their warehouse on my home on Thursday. Will be installing Saturday.

 

I got my bed rack today. The hardware kit didnt have enough lock washers so i got to go snag some tomorrow. It was already dark and the pics didnt really come out, but it looks great. I noticed a small ding or 2 in the powder coat so im gonna call them up tomorrow and see if it can be fixed. Other than this, im super stoked and ready to get an rtt here to mount up. Terrible night pic:

Yea may just order some bars for now, just ordered my Tepui tent so have to get something for now.

Picked up my sliders last week and put them on today. Took my time w/ it but had two minor issues. First I stripped the nut for the transfer case cross member on the passenger side so I ended up dropping in a M8 1.25x45 bolt through the hole and it went back together fine. Second the hole on one of the backer plates was off so I had to work on it a bit w/ a Dremel in order to get the bolt to fit through. The drivers side did take much longer but in doing some research before the install there wasn't anything that caught me off guard and working around the brake lines wasn't to difficult. Just took a little time and patience. Everything went together well and is really solid. I dig 'em.

 

Not enough lock washers with my racks either. Happy with everything else though.

 

What did you do about the wire harness box on the drivers side. The bolt is too long.. Temporarily I'm using about 6 or 7 washers to shorten the bolt so the harness box can be secured. I'll head to HD to get the correct size after my trip.

For the hole not lining up, I had to play with it a little. You have to account for the jack that's holding it up and making sure your bolts in other places aren't too tight so it allows you to shimmy the sliders ever so slightly so the holes line up.
Then I tightened all the bolts and went back and tightened them up again so they're all evenly tight.

 

I did the same thing, several washers to make it work.

 

can i get pictures of the washer to "make it work" that you guys are speaking about. way to visual of a person. thanks

Finally got all 3 skids installed. Took a while by myself but was not a tough install. Sorry for the crappy pic, buts it's all I got here at night
