Just was installing my rci skids and when I got to the transmission skid I realized I was missing a bunch of hardware. I have no backing plates for installing the skid to the cross member. Install is on a 2020 TRDOR.

Has anyone who’s installed an RCI skid lately run into this? Or did I just have some bad luck?

I’m local, so gonna give them a call on Monday and see what’s up. Just figured I’d see if I’m missing something obvious first.

Might pick up something at Lowe’s so that I can at least finish the majority of the install.

Instructions seem clear :notsure: The backing plates are needed, because the holes in the T-case crossmember are much larger than the 3/8" bolt size. You can substitute them with 3/8" fender washers from Lowes or Fastenal. They don't need the the cutout.

Yeah. That’s what I’m doing for now. Kinda guessed and got a 1.5” fender washer to tie me over.
