    Why am I responding to this at 12:10 am? Wife, son, and daughter all have a virus or something and have been projectile vomiting all night. Even the dog puked. WTF? That leaves yours truly to distribute the drugs, change sheets and clothes, and mop up bile. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I'm calling dinosaurs too.

    Gotta love some maintenance. Replaced both lower ball joints with new OEM's. 60k on the originals. I assume age got them rather than mileage.

    I think I had lost a little grease. Ha ha.



    Simple process. Bought an arm puller for the ball joint itself. Worked great.


    Feels good knowing my tires isn't going to fall off anytime soon.

    One related funny story. I'm always hyper-sensitive to noises, feelings, pops, clunks, etc after wrenching on my truck.

    After putting my tire back on I gave it a spin for some reason. WTF was that? I heard something that sounds out of place. Like a rubbing noise or something. I then proceeded to spin my tire for several minutes trying to diagnose...

    Dynabeads. I forgot about the beads in my tires. :laugh:

    Fast forward 5 minutes. Trucks on the ground and I'm about to drive it for the first time. I'm easing out of the driveway listening intently for any unusual noises when... my locker clunked. I damn near died. Ha ha.

    Anyway, all is well and all noises accounted for.
