Random stranger here @rngr !!! First of, love the truck, wish I had a rad 1st gen like yours. For me it will definitely be the lights first, no use to re-gear, upgrade suspension and add a bumper if you can see where the hell you are going. Besides that, I really love your truck man, great job!!!

Damn all those are good but since you just did suspension put that off to last.

Then figure out what you would like best, seeing at night/night wheeling or having a bit more pep when you gas it or having space in the rear.

From what I've read from this thread I'd go rear bumper (get space back), also it protects your ass off-road, then get new lights then gears.

So the things that are bothering me consistently right now is the tire and the lights. A logical step seems to be to order the damn bumper and lights. Think that's what I'll do. Funny how writing something down and discussing will make you aware of what you already knew. Thanks, gentlemen.

Ha ha. Street legal. I absolutely hate passing a truck with blinding lights. I have to refrain to keep from wishing those people will run off the road and smash their stupid lights on a rock.

Being that I just did gears and they were the best damn thing I ever did to the truck, gears all day man.

I have eBay headlight housings with Sylvania zxe bulbs and Piaa 510 extreme white driving pattern in my plate bumper and I can see almost half a mile down the road. I may have a plate bumper but I still would rather not hit a deer or dead animals in the road, i tend to pass the speedlimit a bit...

Then I would probably go with suspension, cause if i was buying your old I would way rather buy a suspension with maybe 10k miles vs 50k and then sell it and get enough money for your lights if you could deal with the tire for a bit

Have the piaa lights held up well?

I really don't care to be able to see extreme distances ahead of me. I'm just tired of driving by the equivalent of lantern light. Ha ha.

Won't be selling my current c/o's. Plan to keep them on hand for use in the interim of future shock rebuilds.

Ah, gotcha. The lights do pretty good, I'm about to swap out the junk connectors for better ones soon and one of them got busted by a rock but I don't have the guards on and they replaced it for free since I got the extended warranty

I'm way late to the party on this, but here's what I would suggest.

Get the lights dealt with first. Ya gotta see where you're going, and seeing a deer a split second too late because of shit lighting would be a bummer. My cheap ass Amazon replacement halogens are worlds better than my stock lights, and they weren't the crazy expensive retros.

After that, I'd knock the bumper out. It's relatively cheap, it's an easy bolt on, and you get back a good portion of your bed space. One less irritation is also worth a lot.

Down the road, I'd do gears and then finally the suspension. Trust me. Gears will put a smile on your face every single time you hit the gas. Best mod by far on my truck.

Very likely what's going to happen here. Did you re-seal your headlights, or just hope for the best? Any leaking or condensation?

I didn't re-seal them, but I probably should just to be safe.

No condensation so far, and I've had them in a freak late season whiteout as well as more than a few rainstorms.

Went camping with Gideon. We discussed my wheels, how I'm having to run spacers, and how they suck. He graciously offered his old ones, and I took him up on it. Then he repainted them and polished the "beadlock" rings for me. As far as what they are, I believe he said they are procomp's that he had a machine shop bore out to be hubcentric for our trucks.

    I'm pretty excited.

***Will have my current wheels and a set of 4 spidertrax 1.25" spacers available for free once the swap is made, if anyone is interested.***
