    Hey Everyone,

First off i have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4. I recently added a 6" fabtech lift and 35"X12.50 toyo Mt's. Ive been searching on the fourm for a few days now and cant find a thread with somebody with the similar set up as me. My truck drives fine in town but i do find myself at loss for power on the freeway and pulling hills "which was expected". I planned on regearing my truck shortly after the lift but cant find any information with similar setups.

    My Questions:

What would the correct gears be to put in my truck?
Is it possible to have the stock power back with 35's?
Does anyone sell a kit that comes with everything?
What is a respectable brand name for gears?

Thank you for any information that can be suggested!

Call Chase at East Coast Gear Supply. Doubt you would be able to find a set up for less and he offers us a 5 year warranty. He ships you paint buckets with new third members. You remove yours. Put his in. Ship yours back. Clean deal and minimum down time. Good luck.

Is your truck a daily driver? How does it do down the highway with 5.29?

the 5.29s pushed the 38s easy..but it affected the mpg, but with the 35s it runs like stock, and barely any difference with mpg

I have the 4 cylinder, so 5.29's would set me going down the highway at 75mph comfortably? I do tend to take this truck on road trips every now and again, so i need gears that work on and off road.

no experience with 4.88s but 5.29s will definately do the trick both on and off road
