Anyone know of a place that will re-gear my truck for a good price? It can be a shop or someone that you may know that is reliable? I have a 4x4 Tundra and I am very interested in doing it. Thanks

Sierra Expeditions is having a deal on Gears, and they do installs. They are a vendor here, and located in Temp. Check them out, and give Will a call.

    Desert Rat: $377
    Sierra Expeditions: $300
    letzrolloffroad: $200-$250

Is that labor? Or parts? Whatever price they give you it will be double for me since I am 4x4.

I got my gears used and I am probably going to go to letzrolloffroad in Mesa so it should only cost me about $300 total.

I bought them from a buddy of mine. They appear to be in great condition but I also don't know much about gears.

contact Zuk with gearinstalls.com he is very well respected and I haven't heard of anyone complain about his work. If you are wanting work done, try to get it to him within the next couple months because he shuts down shop during the summer. You will have to remove your clamshell and rear 3rd and take them to him

We do gear work for $225.00 a axle on straight axle vehicles. $300.00 for the front on a IFS vehicle.(more labor intensive) Used gears are a good way to go as long as you make sure the pattern was in good shape and bearings are OK.

So than it would be 525 for the labor and how much do used gears go for? Where would I be able to find some?

We dont get many newer Toyota used gear sets. Maybe you'll find some online.
