    Is there a trick?

I know to press the two buttons to release them but when I try to re-install, the two posts slide in easily enough but they only seem to lock into place about half the time. Otherwise, I can just slide them back out.

No idea what I’m doing differently between when they lock and when they don’t.

Try turning the headrests around? When I bought my 3rd gen, the head rests were backwards from the factory
