Anyone successfully done this? I after lifting the truck and getting new wheels and tires I got new TPMS as well and ever re-learned them from the truck.
Finally took it to Firestone today and he said he was able to successfully relearn them. My TPMS warning light is off, but still not reading actual pressures. Said I had to drive around a bit but 30 miles later no luck.

Note I only got new sensors on the active 4 tires. Wonder if the old sensor in my spare tire under the truck has any interference with this?

The ECU stores the TPMS sensor IDs for each wheel. If you have new TPMS sensors installed (even if the sensors themselves are programmed), you need to use a tool to write the new TPMS sensor IDs to the ECU to replace the old ones. Without doing this step first, the ECU will only be looking for the old sensors.

If Firestone was able to upload the new sensor IDs to the truck, then you'll need to drive it around for a while before the display will show the tire pressures again. It can take a bit of time for the sensors to initialize and start displaying again.

The (OEM) spare tire does not have a TPMS sensor as the ECU can only store 4 sensor IDs at a time.

I have a bad sensor in one of my tires. If I clear the code with my scan tool the light will go out and stay out if I drive under 20/25 miles. If I drive over that said mileage it will show a fault in the TPMS System and I'll get the light. When I looked at my scan tool it shows a no transmit/ initialization incomplete. Your truck may need to drive a little more to initialize them. My truck doesn't show the pressures, just get the light. I have the poverty trim package. :D

Drive it some more. It'll show up. I recently got new wheels and tires and same thing happened. I even check techstream to make sure my new tpms were programmed in and it was.

I used eBay sensors and they take about 1000 miles or more before my truck will read them. Now it works fine though lol.
I’m not planning on resetting after rotating the tires from now on.
