So, apparently in some areas they pull laws out of their a$$e$ when they do stupid stuff. I wonder if the police cars have cameras in them?

Here, an officer in an unmarked car, cuts off and pulls his gun on a motorist, before identifying himself:

Bikers do it to themselves..."Admittedly speeding" turns very quickly into "felony evading." Cops are trained to some form of "that force necessary to compel compliance" A gun is very likely going to make you stop. It should undoubtedly be accompanied with an identification and is probably aggressive for most situation...but it's a valid technique.

And yes- few people know it- but most states have laws against operation cameras and other devices while driving. This would be one of those sticky ones cause the rider wasn't DOING anything active to run the camera- but that's what courts are for.

Unfortunately, it's a short excerpt of what was a longer video. The rider was being pursued for quite some distance. Watch the whole youtube video where early on you see where the rider passes the marked patrol car sitting in the center median. He even looks behind before approaching the traffic light and sees what looks like a cruiser.

So for cops to tape you during traffic stops is legal but when this guy does it its illegal.Laws suck. This cop sucks. How many cops recently have been overly aggressive?Too many.Shoot first and then ask questions later.

Just watched the longer vid. That dude needs to learn how to shoot video, that fricked sucked. All you could see was about 10 feet infront of him, until he looked back. (that was the best shot)

I watched that whole video and I really don't feel it justifies the officers actions. Dude was acting stupid and speeding on a bike. How on earth is the officers life being threatened?

Just because he looked behind him doesn't mean he saw the patrol car or could identify it. He was turned around for maybe a second.

Dude jumps out of his car waving a gun, looked like some maniac with road rage to me.

That situation could have gone really wrong in so many ways.

I also wonder what kind of high speed driving in an unmarked car the officer had to do in order to catch up with the bike

He was slowing at the end, but durring, It didnt look like he was speeding much. He wasnt passing many vehicles. Nor did it seem he was at a high rate of speed.

Isn't there a rule somewhere that states , to chase someone there has to be a cause or reason to endanger others? And if im in that state and filming my kids on a playground when an officer decides to open fire killing civilians and i happen to have audio and video am I breaking the law because my camera was on?

Let me be clear here, I am not anti law enforcement, but to film them with audio would only help to ensure both sides,LEO and suspects OBEY the law right? Nothing to hide, let the courts decide.
