For what it's worth, I bought the same AFE dry filter for my '04 Tacoma and it was the same price. Bought it through Amazon

I always liked AFE. I put them in my 99 T4R and 03 Tacoma. I wonder if I can squeeze 2 MPG out of a pro dry s in my 16?

This is a good mark down, but I am not sure what the end cost is,once shipping etc is factored in to Canada?? Most sites were I believe around $ 73.00. Matters not,at this point as I have mine on order. Thanks

Doh, sorry! We ship to Canada. Just don't totally have it seemlessly integrated into our site yet, sorry. We should have some user friendly International Shipping after the holidays.

No code needed for our AFE sale & feel free to email or call us directly too if/when you ever need to.

its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
mostly all aftermarket reusable air filters allow more dirt contaminants into the engine than paper filters

personal experience I have used both K&N and Toyota TRD filters and both left dust and residues inside the intake tube, after doing online research https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/airfilter/airtest1.htm I have found out that using the paper filters is the best for the truck

So what's better between the Pro 5R or the Pro Dry S?

I came to the same conclusion when I had my '09. I used an expensive washable aftermarket one that I cleaned at every other oil change and I still had residue building up inside the intake. I'm going to stick with the OEM filters on the new truck and see if there is a difference over time.

also it gets to be a pain in the ass to clean them and oil them, even if they are lifetime use, performance wise I really didn't notice a difference between the paper and reusable, both when new or cleaned seemed like the engine worked peppier. use these now cant beat the price and convenience http://www.ebay.com/itm/Combo-set-A...ash=item280d1e4bad:g:i-AAAOSwnH1WYTeH&vxp=mtr
