Ok guys. So I backed into a coworker and scuffed my bumper up. Looking for an upgrade that's a little more rugged. Trying to stay below $500 which is my insurance deductible. Figured I could find something better than stock. Any suggestions???

Any specific requirements? Does it need an integrated hitch or be compatible with the factory one, for example.

I think factory compatible would be fine as I don't have any plans about changing the hitch

Here’s 236 threads on rear bumpers.

You’ll probably have to spend $750-$1000 minimum. I’d get your insurance to pay closer to $1000 since a new OEM rear bumper with labor is at least that.

They may want to replace just a piece since the OEM rear bumper comes apart in nearly 10 mostly plastic pieces.

Whichever the case, I’d replace it with an aftermarket metal bumper.

This one is really affordable, looks factory and has recovery points
