Read diff not locking

    So my rear diff isnt locking when i turn it on.. but it will still go in 4x4.. I was reading online and im thinking its the Electric Locker.. If someone has a idea that could help me that would be great... or where i can get one that would be awesome!

    u do kno that it only works in 4lo right unless u have done the grey wire mod

    Yea i didnt know that.. but i have try to drive forward... but it works in my friends prerunner and he isnt 4x4

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    In the Prerunner, the locker can engauge in any gear.

    OH thats gay... I would like to just lock it when i have to drive in snow. and not have to be in 4x4.. -40 isnt the best for MPG and its even worse in 4x4.

    What? the grey wire mod makes it like a prerunner, so you can use the locker in 2wd using the factory switch

    wait so you can still use the factory switch? i understood it as its going to be locked all the time..

    yes you just use the factory switch, this way you dont have to be in 4lo to use the locker.

    Another thing to remember with the electric locker, is that its electric so don't use it when in water, like a water crossing. Otherwise you run the risk of frying it and getting to replace it.
