Wow, you really have a bug up your ass about the Ridgeline, dont you? You seem to chime in everywhere the word Honda or Ridgeline are mentioned. Were you abused or molested by a Honda while you were a child? That must be the reason.

Who gives a shit if the RL is a real "truck" or not? If it suits a buyer's needs and fill a niche than why do you care so much? I bet most Tacoma owners probably aren't real truck drivers in the sense that they don't need a truck for 99.9% of the things they use it for but nobody's calling them out on that.

I don't give a rat aZZ about what population of driver it suits or what niche it fills It is still not a pickup truck and on top of that it cheap looking and ugly. You put your 41,000 down and buy one and leave me the hell alone

Yup. Dismiss constant carping by the same group of cry babies looking to vent. Would complain if ya hung 'em with a new rope. From production numbers, looks like there are thousands of us pleased to own the 2016. Wife and I just spent 9 hours driving the Taco and enjoyed every minute, 17,600+ miles now of trouble free, economical driving. Thought you were gonna trade for a Chevy??? I'm anxious to hear of your joining them and let them unlucky folks enjoy the benefit of your opinions....grin.

With all the complaining people have been making about not buying a 3rd gen in the first year. I haven't seen one post about people concerned with the new Ridgeline being a brand new model in its first year.

Its the first year of a new body style. Issues will always be rampant. Keep what you have, buy one and hate it, wait for a 17 or 18, or buy something else. Thats how i see it.

I was at several dealers today trying to trade my 2016 in but ended up driving it home. dealer only wanted to give me 32k.
If i didn't drive in mountains or haul anything over a 1000 pounds then the truck would be fine.. This thing going up a pass with 4 people and gear is a joke, thing is shifting all the time even in manual with ECT on.. I havent towed my 3000 pound trailer in the mountains yet and don't plan to, it struggles enough towing it in town. (truck rated for 6400 hahah) Great looking truck with no problems at 8700miles but bona have to leave toyota.

if you have a 2010 and get a 2016 you WILL most defiantly notice that the 2016 has less power and you will never forget it.....

Or he's like me and just isn't power hungry. Sure my current rig is a 4.0 and it's nice...but my first 2 Tacos were 2.7s and I was perfectly fine with that. In fact, if I were getting a new Taco today I would be fine with a 4 banger.
