Put the cap back on and installed the newly painted hub caps on freshly painted stock rims. After months of frame restoration I installed new hitch and rear bumper. Replaced the 3 fan belts, changed coolant (pink), changed fluids in diffs, trans and transfer case as well as brake and clutch fluid. New battery, silicone vac lines and radiator hoses.IMG_20191007_131834626.jpg

It most certainly is beautiful out here.

I haven't been to Pinnacles in awhile, it's too short of a hike and you can only do a trail so many times.

Highway 1 though always provides a nice view.

it is looking more and more like winter is going to be getting here in my area way too soon, there is a chance for snow showers on Friday
not enough time for me to fully finish prepping my rig :(
what should i focus on with the limited time i have left with decent weather
i think i squandered the whole month of September and basically got not much done other than figuring out what i need to get done with the one man army

In the same boat here, getting ready for another northeast winter. :(

I applied a new coat of Fluid Film to the inside of my frame on Sunday, then dragged my snow tires out of storage to make sure they were ready to go.
This coming weekend I plan to remove the Mustang wheels and put them into storage, then install the 14" steelies which were repainted last weekend and are ready to go.

    I hate winter.

i love the winter absolutely 100 per cent, i never sweat like a piggy and wear tshirts and a light jacket until it gets well below freezing, i like driving in the snow and slop and hitting the diy spray wash to clean up my rig often. i drive with the windows open a bit and the heater on

the FF probably cannot be applied to inside until all the junk paint is fully removed along the bottom channel, that is the only stuff i have detected to be loose in there but it will not hose out well. FF would probably just give me the hugest mess and headache when i can get it done right, but i dunno :notsure:

Not always. Fog tends to obscure the view half the year.
