Glade you got it fixed. So you took it back to the installer and they noticed they were installed incorrect?

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
What comes in this kit? Is there a TSB for it? Did it fix your rumble strip completely?

I don't think it is a tsb. It should be though. it did not completely eleliminate it but it drastically improved it. It might need a larger or smaller shim. I'm totally not sure, but I do know it helped so the issue can be fixed.

I have a 2016 TRD Off Road 4x4 and this kit worked great along with a alignment afterwards.
    Description model
    69-5212
Ready Lift 2" rear 3" front

Suspension Leveling and Mild Kits are one of the most popular aftermarket products for Toyota truck owners. Leveling systems transform trucks into taller, better looking vehiclea, while providing a more commanding view. SST Lift Kits from ReadyLift Suspension Inc., the leader in suspension leveling and lift systems, are economical and safe, and also allow the consumer to upgrade his tires to a larger size. Nothing looks better than a truck fit with an aggressive stance and that is exactly what we provide! This is a complete lift kit. Includes a powder coated steel strut extension, front differential drop bracket, sway bar drop brackets, skid plate spacers and a 2” rear lift block. The SST strut extension and diff drop bracket have been designed to provide 2.75"-3.0" of front suspension lift while retaining the OEM safe suspension geometry. Unlike other kits, no cutting or strut spring pre-loading required. Installs quickly and safely using the provided hardware. Quality step-by-step instructions are provided. Includes a new tapered 2.0" rear lift block. Allows owners to upgrade to larger wheel and tire combinations up to 33" in diameter while retaining the great stock ride and handling characteristics. 32.5" tire diameter recommended. To fit 33" tires you will have to do minor trimming of the inner fenderwell. NOTE: Our objective is to have your truck sit level or slightly below level. Each truck is different so the amount of lift achieved may vary between 2.75" and 3.0" in the front. TRD-equipped trucks often have less rake compared to a non-TRD truck. Measurements on customers’ trucks have revealed as much as 1.0” difference in the factory front end height. Some earlier model Tacoma trucks came factory with a 2 leaf plus overload rear spring pack that had sagging issues. Toyota is replacing these with a 3+1 rear leaf pack. Trucks with 2+1 packs will want to take advantage of this lift system that includes a 2.0" rear lift block for a complete lift all the way around and a stance with approximately a .5" rear to front rake. 2011-2015 Tacoma applications: Toyota made minor changes to the Tacoma upper control arm suspension geometry. In some cases adding a leveling kit MAY affect the ability to correct the caster alignment to within factory specifications. If you have a 2011-2014 Tacoma with a leveling kit and the caster alignment specs cannot be put back to factory your truck will require an aftermarket upper control arm with adjustable caster/camber.

No, it's not quite that harsh. I can't feel it in my seat. Feels more like an engine that wants to stall. No worries. If it's still there after the TSB then I'll deal with it then.

I have the same problem, too. I had mine installed on 10/28 (ReadyLift 2.75" front, 2" blocks on the back) and start to notice the rubble before coming to the stop couple days ago. I'll bring it back to the shop to see if they can fix it :fingerscrossed:

Also my noise is back seems to be coming from the front driver side of the differential. NEEDLE BEARING needs replased. Told me it's a common problem from the factory for several years of the Tacoma,,,,this is what the Ready Lift company says.
"East Coast Gear Supply" is where I ordered the part today,,,I was given this company to call. I ordered what I was told would fix my roaring,,, wuamp,,wuamp noise.

Same issue here after a OME 3" lift. Weak needle bearing on the front diff gave up on life and now have the intermittent rumble/humm. I'm about to attempt the impossible and see if the dealership will cover this under warranty after the lift. Best case scenario, they cover the repair and even agree to replace the shitty needle bearing with the ECGS bushing. A long shot but worth a shot.

People have done it before. They argue that it's already a weak component, and only exacerbated by the lift, which is entirely true.

Let us know how it goes. I want this kit but fear having issues the dealer won't want to cover under warranty.

Hey there, I'm look'n at this same kit, 69-5212, and I'd like to know if you recommend it? Or is a 3 inch lift too much in front. I've seen other kits, 2.25 front with one inch rear.

Have to admit I'm clueless in this area. Appreciate your feedback.
    Thanks

Get an angle finder and check the front and rear of your driveshaft. Depending on the rear lift, the axle housing needs to be turned with either the a tapered block or axle shims. Good rule of thumb is 1 degree of shim per 1" of lift. If that doesn't solve the alignment issue, get some replacement carrier bearing bolts and some washers and add them until the driveshaft gets inline. Good luck!

I will be going to Open Road Port Moody. I have bought several vehicles from them including this truck and have serviced them all there. If they choose not to cover this under warranty, I'm done with them. My appointment is on the 5th. I will pick up a ECGS bushing prior to it and ask them to install it instead of another weak needle bearing. Will post how it turns out.
